Hi all

Below is some information Regarding a trip Tasmania for Vic Country teams.

Cost of the trip on the Spirit of Tasmania will be about $200 for 2 nights. Click on the Attachment to fin out more

If there is any interest from Bendigo, please get in touch with Choc for more info.

Attached is an information booklet that sets out most of the relevant information for the tour including transport options on the Spirit of Tasmania and at the Discovery Caravan Park in Devonport. Both have group booking/discount options as set out in the brochure but of course you are free to organise your own travel and accommodation and maybe extend your tour into a short tour of Tassie (See also tourism options from Tassie Masters player Moorey's tours in attached booklet).

Here are the links for registration for your age group. There is likely to be one or two reserves teams and a social team given the strong response we have had so far to the EOI.

Please let us know when you have registered on Play HQ and what travel and accommodation options you are taking for our database.

Feel free to share this email to your club team mates and contacts, particularly in the over 35 and AFLW categories as we are still a bit short in these divisions and we know the Tassie teams are training and will be strong and competitive in all age groups. In addition to the usual VicCountry "suspects", we are hoping to reach out to our club players who have yet to put their and up for the Big VicCountry V.

Also if you haven't already done so could you please respond or text me with answers to the following: your email, phone number, date of birth, preferred number, age group (35s, 45s, AFLW or social) ground position and Masters club for the data base I am building up.

There will be at least one training day announced by the Coaching staff which will be advised to you and your relevant VicCountry training group. One probably training/selection day will be before the VicCountry AGM at Melton FNC at 9:30 on Sunday 8 February 2025. Others will be announced by Coaching staff on your relevant VicCountry age group whats app group. So stay tuned.
